We are introducing ayursoukhyam one of the venture of Kandamkulathy vaidyasala which is having 150 yrs of tradition in the field of ayurveda are very much committed in providing authentic ayurvedic treatments to the clients. We have authentic ayurvedic treatments for Weight management and stress management programme,the Weight management programme ,the treatment will be a mix of external medicines and internal medicines provided by the doctor during the direct consultation,the doctor will advise the medicines. The ayurveda focus on mobilization of body and slow weight reduction,the excess fat from the body will be removed from the body in a systematic manner and body will be made ease accordingly. The apt reduction of Weight from the body will be 02 to 03 kgs per week,the doctor will advise the suitable diet and internal medicines which has to be continued for certain period of time as per the advice of the doctor. Weight Management Programme :-

Ayurveda has different types of body massage for weight management programme with herbal oil for removing the excess fat from the body. Udwardhanam is one the best method of heating the body with a powder massage and removing the excess fat accumulated on the body. There are few medicines for internal use which will instigate proper digestion and metabolic activities of the body for weight management programme.

Podikizhi:- Pouch of medicated powder puffed over the body accordingly.
Udwarthanam:- Medicated powder massage inorder to break up the fats.

And all other treatments as per the advice of the doctor

Ayurveda considers beauty as an intimate part of the human personality as this holistic science related to every aspect of body and mind & the soul.

Ayurvedic Beauty treatment in kerala deals with overall wellbeing of the body, which includes skin care, hair growth, eye sight, hands and nail care. Ayurvedic beauty treatment also depends on freeing body from impurities, optimum nutrition to body and balance of three doshas( Vata, Pitta & Kapha) the governing energies of the body.

Rasayana Chikitsa and Panchakarma Therapy are adopted for the successful completion of Ayurvedic Beauty Care and it includes:

Abhyanga: Ayurvedic oil massage for healing and detoxifying body, mind & spirit. The oil is massaged into the entire body before bathing. It can be beneficial for maintaing health and is used therapeutically for certain disorders.

Udwarthanam: Udwarthanam is herbal powder massage. The herbal powder is mixed with oil, milk or medicated juice and rubbed upwards onto the body. This treatment improves the blood circulation and reduces bodyweight and skin diseases.

Shirodhara: Shirodhara is a purifying and rejuvenating therapy that includes pouring oil on the forehead from a specific height for a specific period continuously and rhythmically allowing the oil to run through the scalp and hair.

Nasyam: Administration of medicated oil or herbal juice or medicated ghee through nose for the period of time prescribed by the doctor.

Vamana: Vamana is therapeutic vomiting which helps in removing kapha toxins collected in the body, especially through the respiratory system.

Virechanam: Virechanam is purgation treatment using herbal medicines. It helps in removing metabolic waste of liver, gallbladder and intestinal tract.

Mukha Lepanam: Herbal paste application on the face of the person for a period of 15 to 20 minutes. This helps in removing dead cells and enriches the skin.

Vasthi: Vasthi is the treatment where herbal medicines like medicated oils, decoctions, medicated milk or ghee are administered through rectum using an instrument called Vasthiyantra.

Swedana: Herbal steam bath, the person is made to sit in a steam chamber where steam emanates from a boiling herbal decoction which is made of various herbs and medicated powder.
